Consultation of the draft KfW Development Bank Complaints Policy

KfW Development Bank supports partner countries in combating poverty, securing peace, protecting the environment and climate, and advancing equitable globalisation. Nevertheless, unintended impacts on people or the environment may occur in individual cases. As a development finance institution, KfW takes responsibility and is committed to sustainable development. To ensure that complaints submiited are treated in a fair and solution-oriented manner, our complaints procedure is currently being revised and improved.
As part of this process, we invite you to share your feedback on the draft policy governing the work of the Central Complaints Office, ask questions and take part in our dedicated online workshops.
This helps to ensure the final policy will be robust, effective, accessible, and properly structured to guide the complaints process.
You can take part by:

- Registering for one of two consultation webinars (in English):
- Workshop 1: 21 January 2026, 4pm – 6pm CET (via Webex)
- Workshop 2: 29 January 2026, 10am – 12pm CET (via Webex)
The consultation period begins on 24 November 2025 and concludes on 6 February 2026.
